According to Statista’s Consumer Insights survey, this infographic explores the prevalence of flexitarianism in Europe. Flexitarianism refers to mostly vegetarian diets with occasional meat or fish consumption. The data highlights regional differences: in 2022-23, approximately 19% of respondents in Germany and Spain identified as flexitarians, compared to 14% in France. In Eastern Europe, the adoption of flexitarianism is lower, with only 7% in Poland, 5% in Hungary, and 5% in Czechia.
